Herb Tea

  As part of our expanded tea offering we've included some herbal infusions on our menu. Namely,

 Lemon & Ginger, Raspberry & Hibisicus, Camomile and Peppermint.

 Available by the pot, and priced at either 500yen or 550yen.

Darvilles of Windsor

 Just a quick taster of something we are very excited about here in The Three Little Pigs.

 Over the summer we decided to expand our tea range, and during our search for new offerings stumbled across the Darvilles of Windsor range of teas.

 Previously only available at leading department stores and specilaist stockists in Japan, we are now the first tea shop in Japan to offer their teas for general consumption.

 We'll be writing more about Darvilles soon, in English and Japanese, but in the meantime if you want to try the Darvilles offering we're doing pots of English Breakfast, Assam, Darjeeling, Lemon & Ginger, Camomile or Raspberry & Hibiscus for 500 yen per pot.

 Personally my favourite so far has been the Lemon & Ginger. Delicious!

We're Open

  Our summer break has finished and we're back to work from today.

  Open today from 11:30 to 18:00 for lunch, cakes, scones, teas, coffees, beer and wine.

 Last week our flower window display from Country Farm ANDY (カントリーファームアンディ) included mini pineapples.

 Not sure whether these mini pineapples are edible but we do have Pineapple and Coconut cake on the menu now!

Asparagus, Bacon & Cream Cheese Quiche

 The asparagus season is in full flow here in Japan, and there's an abundance of these tasty spears in the shops now. But how to use it?

 We've teamed it up with bacon and cream cheese in one of our ever popular quiche offerings.

Raspberry & Peanut Butter Pound Cake

  Our cake lady has been busy this week conjuring up new combinations! I managed to take of photo of these Raspberry and Peanut Butter pound cakes before they flew off the shelf.

  Notice the new wrapping used for the pound cakes, before we were cutting each slice to order which obviously takes time. With the new wrappings it's now even easy to pick up a few slices to take back to the office or home.

 A big thank you to our neighbour, the packaging shop Tomisho for helping us find the right wrapping for our needs.

 Turn every Friday into a Premium Friday with a bottle of Fuller's Golden Pride. 

 We've not had this barley wine style beer on the shelves for some time. Described as having a taste reminiscent of sweet orange oil, toasted grains, and bread by some, or as ’the Cognac of beers’ by the late beer writer and connoisseur, Michael Jackson.
